Colour managed printing for Virgin Money

Virgin Money via CAPITA Group PLC, an outsourcing and recruitment company headquartered in London. Virgin Money is a UK-based bank and financial services company owned by the Virgin Group and founded by Sir Richard Branson. Virgin Money was launched to give customers a better deal, their aim to offer a wide range of great value financial products that are easy to understand and apply for.
Brief
CAPITA sought a Virgin Money home insurance pack comprising of a high quality folder with a capacity pocket, policy insurance booklet, emergency contact card and letterheads for Virgin Money. It was essential that the printed collateral was colour managed throughout to ensure brand consistency and maintain corporate visual identity.
Solution
The policy insurance booklet was produced in-house by Alp Print. The cover was silk coated in-line using an eco-friendly coating and printed in full colour, whilst the text pages were printed two special pantone colours throughout. The folder was also printed in full colour on heavy silk board and die cut to shape to comprise an oversize A4 capacity folder with business card slots. The accompanying emergency card was printed on 400gsm gloss board gloss laminated both sides and die cut to shape with radius corners. Finally, the letterheads were printed in two pantone colours and every element was colour managed throughout to maintain brand consistency.
